converting facilities that allows foil to be rolled
down to 7 micron thickness with very close tolerance;

Hindalco's
22,000 tpa foil plant at Silvassa has taken significant
strides towards increased value-addition with a
rolling capacity of 9 to 200 micron thickness.
As
a multi-dimensional performer of international
standards, the foil plant, operating well above
its capacity is backed by:

22 microns in a single pass

In
addition to the standard bare and converted pharma,
blister, light and medium gauge and household
foil, the Silvassa plant has a unique product
diversification ranging from bare coated closure
stock in coil and sheet form, bare and coated
finstock in different tempers to bare and coated
container foil and radiator finstock.
Kollur
The
3,000 tpa Kollur plant of Hindalco's subsidiary
company, Indal, produces a wide array of high quality
foils from cigarette and blister foil to
lidding foil in 50 micron down to 7 micron thickness.
The
plant has installed cutting-edge equipment at
par with global standards to cater to the burgeoning
foil and packaging demand.
