Hindalco named Most Honoured Company for the fifth time in a row

Hindalco secured an overall #6 rank in the Basic Materials Sector across Asia (Ex China) and excelled in the individual rankings.

Hindalco has been recognised as a Most Honoured Company in the 2023 Asia (ex-Japan) Executive Team Survey for the fifth time in a row. These rankings, published by renowned financial publication Institutional Investor, are regarded globally as the financial industry’s benchmark for excellence.

Hindalco secured an overall #6 rank in in the Basic Materials sector across Asia (Ex China) and achieved among the top 3 positions in the individual rankings, based on votes by both sell-side analysts and institutional investors. Notably, no other aluminum peers have made it to this ranking within the Basic Materials sector.

In the individual rankings, Subir Sen was ranked Best Investor Relations Professional (third place) for the fifth time in a row, and Hindalco won Best ESG (third place) for the second time in a row. For the first time ever, Hindalco also won for Best Company Board (third place).

Institutional Investor, a leader in survey-based rankings for over 50 years, is the industry's most trusted source for research and rankings among top analysts and portfolio managers. This year, a record total of 5,660 buy-side professionals managing an estimated $2 trillion in Asia (ex-Japan) equities and 814 sell-side analysts participated in this survey, nominated a total of 1,608 companies and 2,504 individuals across 18 sectors.

The companies were rated on several core areas, including Financial Disclosure, Services & Communication, ESG and Board of Directors as well as attributes for CEOs, CFOs, and the Best IR Professionals.
