Ms. Sukanya Kripalu

Ms. Sukanya Kripalu has a graduate degree in Mathematics from St. Xavier’s College; and a post graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. After starting a corporate career in marketing and branding, she transitioned into consultancy broadening her horizon across business operations, corporate governance, strategy and more. 

She worked in top multinational FMCG companies like Nestle India Limited, Cadbury India and Kellogg’s India. Across roles, she was instrumental in launching household brands like Maggi Ketchup, Cadbury Perk and Kellogg’s Frosties. She led the development of the iconic ad campaigns like Cadbury Milk dancing girl, which was awarded ‘Campaign of the century’ by Advertising Club Bombay’s Abby Awards.

She was also the CEO of strategic market and business consulting firm Quadra Advisory, a part of the WPP group. In her consulting role, she worked with MNC and PSU clients, advising them on marketing, brand building, and training. She later opened her own consulting firm where she offered advise relating to mergers & acquisitions, profile building, innovation, as well as helped solve business problems.

In her 43-year-old career, she worked with many companies across media & entertainment, agrochemicals & fertilisers, construction material, packaging materials, financial services, automobiles, retail and real estate.

In her role as a member of various listed company boards, her functional experience expands to HR management, legal & compliance, technology & digitalisation. She is also a part of Nomination Committees across various boards.

She has been a part of committees of industry bodies like Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). She was also a part of Bombay Chamber of Commerce. She was also a part of Board of Governors at IIM Nagpur.
