Mr. Kailash Pandey

CEO - Aluminium Upstream 

Mr. Kailash Pandey currently serves as CEO - Aluminium Upstream at Hindalco Industries. He provides integrated leadership across the entire upstream value chain. This includes Hindalco's Mining Vertical; Aluminium Smelting and CPPs, spanning Sambalpur Cluster i.e. Aditya Aluminium and Hirakud - Power and Smelter, the Renukoot Cluster, Mahan Aluminium; and Primary Sales - Aluminium.

Mr. Pandey has over 30 years of experience in the Metals sector and has played a pivotal role in Hindalco, driving operational excellence, executing large-scale projects, and delivering strong business performance.

His journey with Hindalco began as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Renukoot. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from BIT Sindri. He is also a distinguished alumnus of Harvard Business School, having completed its prestigious Advanced Management Program. His professional credentials include being a Certified Energy Auditor (BEE) and a Certified Chartered Engineer (Institution of Engineers). Additionally, he holds a patent in aluminium smelter technology.

Throughout his career, Mr. Pandey has been honoured with numerous accolades, including the Chairman’s Individual Awards for Outstanding Leader, Values Role Model, Exceptional Contributor, and Distinguished Leader.
