Hindalco marked the launch of its Bike & E-Bike business on 19 June 2026, expanding its presence in the mobility sector with a range of aluminium components for bicycles and e-bikes. The portfolio includes handles, channels, forks, frames, and tubeless ready rims, bringing Hindalco's materials and engineering expertise to a rapidly growing market.
As demand for lightweight, durable and sustainable transportation solutions continues to grow, aluminium is playing an increasingly important role in improving performance, efficiency and ride quality. Hindalco's new portfolio is designed to meet these evolving needs while supporting the growth of the bicycle and e-bike ecosystem.
The milestone also reflects the company's continued focus on creating value through advanced materials. By leveraging its expertise in aluminium, Hindalco is expanding into new applications that are shaping the future of mobility.
The occasion coincided with another significant achievement: the delivery of 75,000 aluminium battery enclosures. The milestone builds on the delivery of 10,000 enclosures in April 2025 and reflects the rapid growth of Hindalco's mobility solutions business.
The two milestones highlight both the breadth and evolution of Hindalco's mobility portfolio—from enabling electric mobility through battery enclosures to developing aluminium components for the next generation of bicycles and e-bikes.
